Can photographers take pictures in the store?
Personal snapshots of your family and friends while in our store as a customer are allowed, as long as it is done discreetly and does not disturb other customers or staff. Please be aware that logos, brands, and signage are considered trademark items and should NOT be photographed if your photos are intended for profit or for sharing on the internet without approval.
Any professional photographers hired by a client to take photos, or photographers wanting to take photos for professional purposes (portfolio, advertising, promotions, etc.) in the store, need to contact us prior to making any arrangements with clients or models. A fee may be required for use of the space, depending on usage and time.
We request that photography appointments be scheduled at a time when it will be most convenient for our daily business. Please be aware that we usually only allow photography in the earlier part of the business week (Tues-Thurs) in the mornings before noon. All photographer requests should be confirmed and approved by Sugarbaby’s party and events coordinator prior to the hire of any such photographer. Large equipment such as bags, props, lighting equipment, etc. will not be allowed unless the party room has been reserved to contain your items.
While it is truly flattering that visitors find Sugarbaby's such a great backdrop for photos, we are a bakery and our focus first and foremost is to our bakery clients and our desserts. Any other opportunities must be considered secondary to our daily business.
If your photo session – professional or personal – is handled in a manner that disrupts business or disturbs other customers, you may be asked to leave.
